Continue through bushes and mountain pines into the K\u00fcbelkar, then uphill through another mountain pine field to the Wilden-Kaiser-Steig (comes from the Baumgartenk\u00f6pfl (1,572 m). Then continue left to the Jubil\u00e4umssteig trail which leads to the foot of the Karlsspitze and finally over a step secured by a wire rope to the imposing Ellmauer Tor (1,977 m).  <\/p>\n\n<p>Sure-footed mountain hikers with a head for heights climb the path back to the junction of the Jubil\u00e4umssteig and on to the Gruttenh\u00fctte (approx. 2.5 hours).<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Walking time: 5 h<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Highest peak: 1,997 m<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Altitude difference: 912 hm<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Trail conditions: gravel, forest, meadow, alpine pastures<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Equipment: wire rope insurance, marked paths (alpine terrain), scree \/ stones \/ light rock, climb, forest path, meadow path<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Starting position: Wochenbrunneralm 1085m<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Accessible in the following months: May, June, July, August, September, October<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>From the Ellmau parking lot at the Wochenbrunneralm (1,085 m) on a wide gravel path slightly uphill, first through a small forest, then over alpine meadows in half an hour to the Gaudeamush\u00fctte (1,263 m).
